2020 Technical Specifications

Grape Varieties Nebbiolo
Classification Barolo DOCG Riserva Etichetta Nera
Region Vignarionda
Harvest Dates Between the end of September and the first half of October
Production Details A mild winter produced early budbreak between late February and March. May and June rainfall slowed development and restored soil-water reserves; vineyard work addressed downy-mildew pressure and vigor, including careful bunch thinning. A warm but non-extreme summer and cool September nights promoted gradual development of high-quality polyphenols.
Tasting Notes Precise floral notes, fresh red fruits and a diverse, evolving aromatic spectrum; deep and precise palate, exceptionally clean, with silky, integrated tannins, an acidic backbone, persistence and youthful drinkability.
