It underwent long maceration during natural fermentation in buried Georgian amphorae; after pressing it returned to the same vessels for five months, then matured six years in old oak casks and seven years in bottle before release. The importer identifies 2011 as the final vintage of Gravner's non-Ribolla white varieties.
