Production Details The producer confirms that FL was made in 2022 as part of the Vino di Contrada project. Its estate-level 2022 report—not an FL-only specification—says white grapes were picked from mid-August and the harvest finished in the first week of October with Frappato and Nero d'Avola; grapes were rigorously selected at picking and again in the cellar, and normal sulfur and copper treatments were minimal.
Tasting Notes Eric Guido (Vinous, July 2025) described blood orange, peach, mint, white smoke, red and blue berries, fine tannins, tangerine and floral notes. James Button (Decanter, 8 May 2025) described herbal bramble fruit, a tight grippy frame, pomegranate and blood orange.
