Production Details Acidity is reported as 5.8 g/L without an acid-equivalent basis. Grapes were hand-picked into crates and kept cold when not immediately pressed, pneumatically pressed, and the must settled overnight in temperature-controlled stainless steel. After fermentation the wine was transferred to 228-L French-oak barrels, one-third new, and kept on lees for 10–12 months, with weekly stirring during the first six months. It was lightly filtered and held in bottle for at least six months before release. The vineyards include 30–40-year-old Guyot-trained vines; a 1989 planting used five Burgundy Chardonnay clones.
Tasting Notes Golden colour; toasted almond and buttery aromas; rich ripe fruit, creamy brioche and complex minerality; full-bodied with a long finish.
