Production Details The 2019 Pozzi was one of twelve Sangiovese crus vinified separately. The producer's common Materia Prima protocol comprises indigenous-yeast fermentation, an equal but unspecified period of skin maceration, malolactic fermentation in 500-litre tonneaux and 18 months of ageing in wood. Pozzi is a markedly sloping hillside vineyard at Pagliarese, planted in 2007, with a total area of 1.67 ha.
