2021 Technical Specifications
Region Sarmassa
Production Details For the producer's 2021 collection, harvest occurred from 20–25 September in sunny conditions; this is collection-wide timing rather than a separately documented Sarmassa picking interval. Fermentations were spontaneous in stainless steel. Maturation lasted two years, principally in traditional large cask and 500 L tonneau, with a very small barrique component specifically identified for Sarmassa. The source also states that all Voerzio vineyards are farmed organically.

Production Details Justerini & Brooks reports spontaneous stainless-steel fermentation and two years of maturation; it describes the estate's principal vessels as traditional large cask and 500 L tonneau, with only a very small barrique component for Sarmassa. Superiore.de instead summarizes maturation as 8/24 months in stainless steel/barrique, so the differing oak-vessel descriptions remain unresolved. Superiore.de also reports dry extract of 29.97 g/L, recommends 18–20°C, gives cellar potential as 2049+, and identifies Sarmassa as magnum-only. Noble Sélection confirms the 2020 listing as one 1,500 mL bottle.
