Production Details Vertical shoot-positioned vineyards with spurred-cordon pruning, plus other traditional quality-oriented training systems; bunches undergo additional vibrating-table sorting at the winery, followed by berry selection with a destemmer that rejects green and overripe berries.
Tasting Notes Intense ruby red; plum, blueberry, liquorice, vanilla and tobacco; spicy and balsamic nuances; enveloping palate with fine, integrated tannins and a persistent finish.
Food Pairing Red meat and game; also tuna or oily fish. Serve at 18°C in large, wide-mouthed, tall glasses.
