Production Details The average vine age is approximately 31 years; vines are Guyot trained at 4,500–5,000 plants per hectare. Fermentation is slow at 14–16°C in steel, and the tank is sealed halfway through fermentation to reabsorb a small amount of naturally produced CO2. The wine remains on its lees in steel until bottling. Producer-wide 2024 context states that white-wine grapes were harvested from mid-September and showed lower sugar accumulation than recent vintages with a well-balanced acid profile; this is not stated specifically for Roero Arneis. Alko lists “Acids 5.8 g” for the exact-vintage product but does not provide an explicit volume or acid-equivalent basis in the accessible text, so it is not mapped to total_acidity_gl.
Tasting Notes Straw yellow; fresh floral, citrus and melon aromas; mineral and almond notes; dry and medium-bodied with fresh acidity, balance, elegance, complexity and persistence.
