Production Details A limited-production, single-vineyard Recioto made only in selected best years. Grapes from Vaio Mezzanella undergo natural appassimento in traditional drying lofts during the cold winter months. Tasting Notes Opaque ruby red with a viscous appearance; baked fruit, sweet spices, dried plum, cinnamon and almond, with a bittersweet finish.
Food Pairing Mature or piquant cheeses, sweet pastries and dried fruit; also suggested with a cigar.
