Production Details Vinified at the Ulmo winery. The vineyards are espalier-trained and Guyot-pruned at 4,545 vines/ha; Monte Cirami is at 400 m and Gurra at 35 m. The Italian producer sheet reports 90 quintals/ha at both sites, while the English producer sheet reports 90 at Monte Cirami and 80 at Gurra; the Gurra yield therefore remains an explicit producer-language conflict. Organic/SOStain cultivation includes fava-bean, vetch and spontaneous ground cover, minimal sulfur and copper, beneficial insects, mating disruption, and zeolite, kaolin and plant extracts.
