Production Details Antonio Galloni reports that the 2022 was made with 50% stems. The trade listing additionally reports total extract of 22.98 g/L, sulphite of 82 mg/L, conventional cultivation, a serving range of 10–12°C, and an ambiguously formatted maturation entry of '2/12 months wooden barrel/bottle'; that maturation wording is retained without converting it into ageing days or asserting an allocation. Vietti's current unvintaged specification instead states 60% whole bunches, so that later generic proportion is not applied to the 2022.
Tasting Notes Superiore.de describes intense purple-red color; dark berries, raspberry, violet, liquorice and a cool mineral note; grippy tannin, lively acidity and black fruit; and a long spicy, earthy finish. Antonio Galloni's January 2025 review describes the 2022 as floral, spicy, savoury, exotic and characterful.
