Production Details Guyot-trained vineyards planted during 1980–1990 at 2,200 vines per acre, yielding 2.4–3.2 tons per acre. Alcoholic fermentation lasted 18 days at 61–63 °F. The wine aged in stainless steel for 3–4 months before bottling and then one month in bottle. Maceration is internally inconsistent: the table appears to state six hours, while the narrative states 3–4 hours of skin contact; therefore no single maceration value is assigned.
Tasting Notes Juicy and vibrant, with strawberry fruit, freshness, aromatic lift and red-berry flavor.
Food Pairing Vinaigrette-dressed salads, olive-oil-dressed vegetables, grilled branzino, chicken or pork, burgers and lamb.
