Alcohol 14.5%
Grape Varieties 100% Carignano
Classification Isola dei Nuraghi IGT
Region Isola dei Nuraghi
Soil Sandy soil with limestone and clay components
Production Details Grapes come from Tenuta Vigne Vecchie. Fermentation and maceration are temperature-controlled for an average 10–12 days; the wine is transferred to cement tanks for malolactic fermentation and then to barriques. It matures for 12 months in barriques and rests in bottle for at least 6 months. The 10–12-day range and month-based maturation periods are retained as text rather than converted to exact-day fields.
Tasting Notes Ruby red; cherry and other red-fruit aromas, Mediterranean-scrub balsamic notes and light sweet spice; warm and soft with velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish
Food Pairing Traditional land-based first courses, grilled meats, grilled tuna belly, roast kid and well-aged cheeses

Production Details Fruit was harvested fully ripe to almost over-ripe. The table lists a 20-day alcoholic fermentation at 80°F in stainless steel, followed by full malolactic fermentation in cement and transfer to French-oak barriques. Aging containers are listed as three years old and their size as 225, but no size unit is printed. The sheet is internally inconsistent on extraction and maturation: it lists 20 days of maceration and 10 days on skins while the prose gives an average 10–12 days; it lists one year before bottling and seven months in bottle while the prose separately mentions two months and another six months. No exact maceration or aging-day claim is therefore proposed.
Tasting Notes Ruby red with violet hue; intense ripe-fruit and jam aromas; full, harmonious and warm with persistent fruit notes
Food Pairing Well-dressed first courses, grilled tuna belly, roast suckling pig, roast kid and mature cheeses
