Production Details Fidelio is the 2014-disgorged presentation of the 2004 Riserva Vittorio Moretti and the final release in the Lohengrin–La Traviata–Fidelio trilogy. Its lees maturation was prolonged so that release coincided with the 7 December 2014 Fidelio premiere. The release material describes harvest, crushing, fermentation in pièces, tirage under cork, riddling and disgorgement as manual operations. Serving guidance is 6°C on the detailed release page, while the exact-wine sheet updated 22 August 2024 gives a broader 6–8°C range.
Tasting Notes Crystalline moon-yellow colour with youthful green reflections; very fine, expressive and persistent perlage; aromas of exotic and candied fruit, white flowers and Mediterranean dried fruit; energetic, long, voluminous and persistent palate with evident but graceful acidity.
