Production Details The 2011 release is described by the producer as a dry rosé from the Ciantons vineyard in Friuli Isonzo Rive Alte, Mariano del Friuli. The vineyard had 6,000 vines/ha, 2.10 × 0.80 m spacing, 0.7 ha in production, spur-pruned vines, and a crop yield of 5,643 kg/ha and 0.94 kg/vine. Grapes were destemmed and crushed; fermentation ran at 16–20°C with selected yeast for 18 days, without malolactic fermentation. Official specifications conflict on low-temperature skin contact and lees maturation: the PDF gives 1 hour and 7 months, the Italian HTML gives 2 hours and 8 months, and the English HTML gives 20 hours and 7 months. The PDF and Italian page also specify static cold clarification followed by natural clarification; the English page describes non-agent natural clarification in steel. All versions agree on bottling on 4 September 2012 and eight months of bottle maturation.
