Production Details Piere vineyard, Mariano del Friuli; 6,200 vines/ha, 6,400 kg/ha and 1.03 kg/vine across 11.5 ha, trained to simple Guyot. Grapes were destemmed and crushed, underwent pre-fermentation cold maceration at 8°C and cold settling, then fermented at 16–19°C with selected yeast for 18 days. No malolactic fermentation followed. The wine matured eight months on its lees, clarified naturally without agents in steel, and received ten months of bottle ageing. The producer estimates peak maturation at eight years and cellar life at eighteen years.
