Production Details Curubella is a mass-selection planting established in 1981, characterized by particularly small, sparse bunches. The grapes were hand-picked into small crates, destemmed and given two days of skin contact. Malolactic fermentation took place over two weeks, followed by contact with the yeasts in cocciopesto vessels. The producer additionally describes several months on the lees, post-bottling rest in temperature-controlled rooms and a recommended serving range of 10–12°C.
