Production Details Grapes were hand-picked into crates with careful selection in the vineyard. At the winery, clusters were selected again on a vibrating table, followed by berry selection using a destemmer designed to reject green and overripe berries.
Tasting Notes Pale ruby red; spice and sour cherry, with fresh balsamic and undergrowth notes; fruit and spice return on the palate with silky tannins.
Food Pairing Mediterranean appetizers and dishes featuring eggplant or mushrooms; roasted or stewed meats; roasted fish; chicken wings, hamburgers, mildly spiced Asian dishes, and Tex-Mex meat-and-legume dishes. Serve at 16–18°C.
