Production Details Manual October harvest from contrada Barbabecchi at 870–910 metres, from vines more than 100 years old. Grapes were destemmed and lightly crushed, followed by 60 days of extended skin maceration. The wine was lightly filtered and matured in neutral epoxy tanks of 1,500–2,500 litres.

Production Details The 2019 Magma came from ungrafted vines in contrada Barbabecchi, south of Solicchiata, at approximately 900 metres elevation. The vineyard lies above the DOP zone and faces northeast. The producer reported uneven ripening within clusters and sorting-table removal of unevenly ripened fruit during the 2019 harvest.
