Production Details The manually harvested grapes were destemmed and crushed, then fermented with skin maceration in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and frequent pump-overs for about three weeks before racking. The wine matured for 12 months in stainless steel and small French-oak barrels, followed by nearly four months in temperature-controlled bottle-storage cellars. The vineyards were Guyot-trained and managed using an ecologically sustainable approach.
Tasting Notes Black-cherry red with purple highlights; intense fruity and herbaceous aromas of cherry, red pepper, currant, blackberry and blueberry, integrated with sweet spices and liquorice; vibrant, long and structured, with balanced tannins, acidity and a spicy finish.
