Production Details Producer specification: single Sangiovese lots mature for 14 months in fine- to extra-fine-grained 225 L barriques and 500 L tonneaux, with part in larger oak vessels, before blending; the bottled wine then ages for over one year before release. Finished-wine sugar was reported as below 1.0 g/L, and the serving range as 14–18°C (57–64°F). The importer adds hand harvesting into 9 kg crates, approximately 12 days of maceration and regular racking. A source conflict remains: the importer describes a 12-month maturation and at least three months after bottling, whereas the producer sheet specifies 14 months in oak and over one year in bottle.
