Production Details Montepulciano grapes are vinified as a white wine: they are foot-crushed and fermentation proceeds without the skins. The producer's unchanged white-wine process ferments only the juice spontaneously in small concrete tanks for 30–35 days and transfers the wine from concrete to bottle in the second spring after harvest.
