Production Details Grapes were harvested manually with selection in the vineyard. Fermentation temperature varied, peaking at 32 °C; alcoholic fermentation completed during the 30-day skin contact. After drawing off, the wine was racked several times and matured for 30 months in large Slavonian-oak barrels. Recommended serving temperature is 18–20 °C.
Tasting Notes Black cherry, raspberry and plum preserves, violet, cocoa, leather, liquorice, tobacco and vanilla; pale ruby with garnet hues; broad palate with a persistent raspberry, plum and cherry finish.
Food Pairing Red meat, peppered beef fillet, truffle dishes, aged cheeses and pot roast.
