2020 Technical Specifications

Classification Barolo DOCG Classico
Region Barolo
Sites Produced primarily from grapes grown in Serralunga d’Alba
Oak Types Slavonian oak
Production Details Classical winemaking with maturation in large Slavonian-oak barrels. The season began with mild temperatures and lower-than-usual winter rainfall; rain from May through July restored soil water without causing vine water stress, while sunny late-summer days and cool September nights lengthened the vegetative cycle and supported ideal ripening.
Tasting Notes Elegant, fine, complex and harmonious, with an expressive, silky nose and palate
