Production Details Single-vineyard Pinot Nero planted in 2000, Guyot-trained at high density and managed for low yields. The 2018 season had heavy spring rain followed by a warm, dry summer and favorable September–October harvest conditions. Fermentation occurred in open-top stainless-steel tanks with frequent gentle cap plunging. The wine then underwent malolactic fermentation and 12 months' maturation in barriques, followed by several years in bottle before release. Listed bottle size: 75 cl.
Tasting Notes Intense ripe red and black berries, star anise and leather; full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish
