Production Details The Schiava grapes were harvested by hand and destemmed before controlled-temperature fermentation in stainless steel. The wine then matured for five months in stainless steel before bottling, without wood. The vineyards are described as approximately 400 metres above sea level, and the listed serving-temperature range is 14–16 °C.
Tasting Notes Light ruby red; cherry and cranberry aromas with cocoa and bitter-almond nuances; light, fresh, vinous and finely tannic.
Food Pairing Cured meats, tomato-based pasta, poultry and other white meats; Mediterranean first courses, fish and fresh cheeses.
