Production Details Vigna Castel Ringberg is a precisely demarcated single-vineyard monopole at 330–400 meters. The grapes were entirely handpicked. The producer describes approximately 10 days of must fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks, then 20 months in French-oak barriques and several months of bottle maturation before release. Grapes are handled using gravity-fed technology, a sensitive destemmer and the rail-mounted “cuvon” container. The producer lists an aging potential of 15–18 years.
