Production Details Vigna Castel Ringberg is a demarcated single vineyard and Elena Walch monopole at 330–400 m. The grapes were entirely handpicked, gently pressed and statically clarified. Fermentation occurred at a controlled 20°C: part in stainless steel and 40% in large oak barrels and Allier barriques, followed by partial malolactic fermentation. The lots were blended shortly before bottling in spring 2025. The official product page currently gives a conflicting/generalized regime—most must in stainless steel and a small portion in 25-hL large wooden barrels, with 10 months’ maturation there followed by bottle maturation—and recommends serving at 12–14°C.
Tasting Notes Clear straw yellow; complex ripe pear, lime blossom and spicy sage aromas; structured, elegant and harmonious, with creamy fullness and density.
