Production Details Fruit came from the vintage's best plots at approximately 350–500 m and was picked when Chardonnay reached optimum maturity; all varieties were processed and fermented together. Following partial malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for another 10 months in barrique with regular lees stirring, followed by at least 6 months in bottle. The linked official 2017 PDF states a further seven years of bottle aging before release in the Ridnaun silver mine, while the current official page for the same 2017 wine states four years; this duration conflict remains unresolved. Both sources place the mine aging at 2,000 m, about three kilometres inside the mountain, in darkness at 11°C and 95% humidity under low air pressure. The producer recommends serving at 11–13°C.
Tasting Notes Lush golden yellow; exotic fruit cocktail, grapefruit and orange, stimulating spice, light smoke and integrated honey; youthful yet mature, crisp and fresh, with alpine coolness and southern richness
Food Pairing Flavor-rich first courses, fish, cheese and white-meat dishes

Production Details Grapes from the vintage's best parcels at approximately 350–500 m were harvested and processed together on the same day, with timing determined by optimal Chardonnay maturity and blend proportions allowed to vary slightly by year. After fermentation, bâtonnage was performed weekly for three months, followed by approximately 10 months in French barriques. The wine then received approximately eight years of bottle aging in the disused Ridnaun mine at 2,000 m, in darkness and isolation at a constant 11°C and 95% humidity under very low air pressure.
Tasting Notes Intense yellow; complex grapefruit, white peach, floral and toasted aromas; full-bodied and refined, with creamy softness, fresh savory minerality, a long finish and subtle barrel-derived notes
