Production Details Fruit comes from the 10-hectare Brigaldara vineyard, planted in 1980 and 2010 at 4,000–5,000 vines/ha and trained to Pergola Veronese and Guyot. Selected loose bunches are placed in crates and dried in the loft for approximately 120 days. Fermentation proceeds with continuous skin contact, two pump-overs daily and one délestage midway through fermentation. Maturation is one year in small wooden barrels followed by two years in large wooden barrels. Finished-wine dry extract is 34.3 g/L.
Tasting Notes Bright red; clean red-cherry and berry aromas with a floral accent; initially sweet and glycerine-textured, followed by a slightly bitter note, firm tannic bite and lively red-fruit flavours; dry, warm finish.
