Production Details The Case Vecie vineyard is Guyot-trained, covers 9 ha at 4,000 vines/ha, and is reported as planted in 1980/2010. Vineyard-selected grapes are placed in crates and dried in a drying loft. Fermentation remains in contact with the skins, with two pump-overs daily and a delestage midway through fermentation. Maturation comprises 2 years in small wooden barrels followed by 2 years in large wooden barrels. The producer sheet states dry extract as 35.1 without displaying a unit. The exact-2018 specialist technical block additionally reports destemming, temperature-controlled fermentation and stainless-steel maturation, and recommends serving at 16–18°C.
