Production Details The Brdo vineyard has steep southern slopes at 260–300 metres near Lake Butoniga. Vineyard practices included minimum pesticide use, no herbicides, mechanical cultivation, inter-row mulching, organic fertiliser and strict pruning for low yields. Grapes were manually sorted, destemmed and crushed, then fermented on the skins for up to two weeks. The wine subsequently spent 15 months in French oak barrels, was blended and further aged in stainless-steel vats, and then received bottle ageing.
