Production Details Made with 30% whole clusters; the remaining fruit was destemmed but not crushed, followed by maceration in open vats. Matured for 18 months in French-oak barrels, 30% new. Production was 332 cases. Recommended service is 16–18°C after opening 1–2 hours beforehand.
Tasting Notes Deep purple; dark fruit, licorice, violet and black cherry; blackberry and blackcurrant on a rich, velvety palate, with roasted coffee, white pepper, sandalwood, bouquet garni, smoke and bacon-fat notes.
