Production Details Grapes were harvested manually with sorting and given a short maceration; the wine matured in foudre for one year. Storage should be at a constant temperature, ideally 12°C, and service at 12–14°C. Terra Vert's exact-2021 importer entry says yield was held below half the usual level and specifies 12 months in large Alsace foudre. It describes the Carignan as 80 years old, while the producer sheet gives a broader vineyard-age range of 30–70 years; both source-specific statements are retained because they conflict.
Certifications Biodyvin biodynamic certification since 1999
Tasting Notes Deep nose of violets and juicy plums; direct attack, velvety tannins and a long finish
Food Pairing Duck breast; confit lamb shoulder
