Production Details Estate-wide 2023 context, not cuvée-specific: no spring frost, little or no climatic damage, good flowering and summer conditions, followed by a late heat spike. Sorting was necessary but limited; the producer describes the wines as immediately pleasurable, fresh and energetic, with genuine aging potential.
Tasting Notes Neal Martin, tasting in January 2025: blackcurrant and raspberry, gentle grip, then slightly candied fruit, a mildly lactic finish, dark chocolate and espresso. Jasper Morris, tasted October 2024 and published January 2025: spice, pure red berries with darker threads, fine length and harmonious balance.

Production Details Estate-wide 2022 context, not cuvée-specific: the season was very dry, with June storms supplying needed water. Grape maturity was reached on 2 September without excess; fermentations were rapid and polyphenol extraction was easy. The producer associates the concentration with strong aging potential.
Tasting Notes Jasper Morris, tasted October 2023: lifted bouquet, substantial fresh red fruit across the palate, white pepper and a long red-fruit finish.
