Production Details The 1.0019 ha walled, early-ripening parcel lies beside La Vouge and was planted between 1901 and 1983 at 10,000 vines/ha; its planting material is described as 80% massal selection and 20% clones, with Guyot pruning. Grapes were hand-sorted in the vineyard and at the winery, left uncrushed and gravity-vatted. Following cold pre-fermentation maceration, vatting lasted 20 days with one light pumping-over daily, followed by vertical pressing. Maturation comprised 15 months in barrels and 1 month in stainless steel, with racking before summer; the wine was lightly filtered without fining.
