Production Details The 2022 came from four parcels, with the source naming La Gigotte, Les Buttes and Les Combes; vines were 60–92 years old. It underwent spontaneous fermentation and matured for 12 months in barrels, 20% new. The source says four parcels but supplies only three distinct parcel names, so that limitation is retained.
Tasting Notes Cellar Vinhos describes dark red fruit with a liqueur-like character, violet, rose petals and anise, followed by density, refinement, power and a chalky finish. Vinmonopolet describes flowers, red berries and spices, with a juicy, concentrated and long palate and medium-deep red colour.
Food Pairing Light meat, small game and pork; Cellar Vinhos additionally suggests French charcuterie, pâtés and terrines, white meat, mushrooms and duck.
