2021 Technical Specifications
Region Valmur
Sites Old Valmur parcel on the Grenouilles side.
Vine Age Old parcel; no numeric vine age stated.
Production Details The report groups the 2021 Valmur among contract Grand Crus and says all the Grand Crus received the same élevage. However, its Bougros entry specifies 500-litre barrels followed by stainless steel while the Valmur tasting line says “here no oak”; the exact Valmur vessel program is therefore internally unclear and should not be canonicalized as a settled oak specification.
Tasting Notes Bill Nanson, tasting at the estate on 27 January 2023: restrained aromas with citrus complexity; pronounced minerality, depth, complexity and balanced structure.
