Production Details Organically farmed grapes were harvested by hand, pressed and cold-settled before natural fermentation in foudre. The Eckberg parcel is 0.80 ha, with vines reported as 35–40 years old; the grower dossier describes maturation of the domaine's wines in old foudres. Vinous additionally described the 2022 parcel as having very little topsoil, lying west of and cooler than Vanne, and being harvested about one week later than Vanne.
Tasting Notes IPO Wines: crisp and refreshing, with pronounced acidity. Vinous: ripe Mirabelle, tart russet-pear peel, stone, pithy phenolics and a bone-dry impression. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: fragrant, rocky and saline, with juicy, savory, dense, intense and concentrated character.
