Production Details The importer’s 2018 vinification section reports double sorting—first by bunch, then by berry after destemming with optical sorting—alcoholic fermentation with selected yeast strains, malolactic fermentation in new barrels, traditional barrel racking, and 18 months in French oak with 20% new oak. However, the same page’s general M de Moulin Riche description says the wine is aged for six months in two-year-old French oak. These maturation specifications conflict internally and should not be treated as settled. The importer also lists “Acidity” as 5.1 g/L without identifying its acid-equivalent basis, so that figure is retained here rather than emitted as unqualified total acidity.
Tasting Notes Red plum, blackcurrant and cedar aromas; brisk acidity, structured tannins, and a bright, fresh finish
