Production Details Merlot picking began on 14 September, followed by Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot and then Cabernet Sauvignon. All plots ripened at approximately the same time, and the estate completed picking in nine consecutive days. On selected parcels, vine shoots were braided instead of trimmed; the producer reports that these lots showed greater freshness and balance.
Tasting Notes Almost-black colour with purple reflections; juicy black fruit, spice, flowers, black cherry, rose and cedar; fleshy, mellow and concentrated palate with silky assertive tannins, persistent balance and a menthol-fresh finish.
