Production Details The official importer sheet describes a second grape selection on a vibrating table, total destemming, gentle pigeage and pumpovers, indigenous-yeast fermentation and maceration, no SO2 at grape reception or during élevage, and maturation in oak barrels with less than 20% new oak plus older barrels; it also records 1.5 ha for Charlouise. A vendor-hosted estate technical text adds cold pre-fermentation, maceration in a truncated-cone wooden vat, two-thirds maturation in new and one-year barrels and one-third in wooden vat, with racking after 11–18 months according to tasting. The differently framed oak descriptions are retained with their respective source contexts rather than reduced to one unsupported proportion.
