Production Details For the 2007 red range, Lucien Le Moine delayed malolactic fermentation, retained the wines on their lees for greater depth and richness, and sulfured the barrels to prevent early malolactic fermentation; the secondary fermentations mostly finished in September.
Tasting Notes Stephen Tanzer's 2007 review describes deep red color; pungent, slightly high-toned raspberry, coffee and cocoa-powder aromas; a suave, vibrant and pure palate with intense crystallized-fruit flavors and sappiness; and a finish of class and lingering perfume.
