Production Details Estate yield was 28 hl/ha before selection among Château Smith Haut Lafitte, Les Hauts de Smith and Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte. After sorting before and after destemming, grapes were vinified as whole berries with partial use of whole bunches. Gentle extraction used punch-down and/or pump-over; long macerations continued at 26–28°C for a duration adapted to each vat. Maturation lasted 14 months in barrels made by the estate's integrated cooperage. The vineyard was farmed organically and biodynamically.
Tasting Notes Cassis, blueberry and black cherry with garrigue, liquorice wood, smoked tobacco and sweet spices; wet-gravel minerality; creamy yet precise attack, dense harmonious mid-palate, compact ripe chalky tannins, energetic acidity and a savoury persistent finish.

Production Details After sorting before and after destemming, uncrushed grapes were gravity-fed into vats. Tannin and colour extraction used punch-down and/or pump-over. Maturation lasted 14 months in barrels made by the estate's integrated cooperage. The vines were massal selections using estate mother-vine rootstocks and were organically farmed.
Tasting Notes Deep ruby-garnet with violet highlights; cassis, blueberry and ripe cherry with herbal, black-pepper and fine-wood nuances; juicy, elegant and fleshy, with vibrant freshness, fine tannins and a persistent spicy finish.

Production Details Estate yield was 35 hl/ha before selection among Château Smith Haut Lafitte, Le Petit Haut Lafitte and Les Hauts de Smith. Whole berries were vinified in small wooden vats at 26–28°C for 4–6 weeks, with extraction by punch-down and/or pump-over, followed by 14 months in French-oak barrels made onsite. The estate's red harvest began September 14 with young-vine Merlot, followed by old-vine Merlot from September 22, Petit Verdot on October 2 and Cabernet Sauvignon October 5–12, finishing with Cabernet Franc.
Tasting Notes Deep, dense red; red and black fruit including cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, with empyreumatic, herbal, flinty, eucalyptus, dried-herb and floral notes; rich and concentrated palate with fresh acidity and fine tannins.
