Production Details Hand-harvested and carefully sorted grapes were gently pressed. The wine was aged on fine lees in 228 L French oak barrels for 14–16 months; 100% of the wine was oaked and 20–30% new oak was used. The producer recommends serving at 12–14°C and gives keeping potential of 3–5 years or more.
Tasting Notes Alliance Wine's 2022 note: pale yellow-gold, with oak and vanilla opening to white peach and hawthorn blossom; long, balanced and mineral. Wine Spectator's Bruce Sanderson, published in 2024: oyster shell, toasty oak, peach, apple and butterscotch, with a sleek palate and brisk, mouthwatering finish.
Food Pairing Fish with a buttery sauce, mushrooms and ragout
Critics Ratings 91/100 — Wine Spectator, Bruce Sanderson, published 2024
