Production Details Grapes and musts are purchased from supply partners under rigorous specifications. Grapes are harvested by hand in open-work crates and sorted if necessary, followed by total destemming. Fermentation and maceration last 2–3 weeks, with punching down and pumping over. Press ends are separated according to tasting. Maturation lasts 14–16 months in French high-forest oak barrels, including 20–25% new barrels.
Tasting Notes Véronique Boss-Drouhin: ruby color; wild cherry and spice aromas developing toward leather; fine, noble tannins; ample, fruity finish. The 2023 release also shows ripe red and black berries, excellent ripeness, and a smooth, long, complex palate.
