2017 Technical Specifications
Grape Varieties Cabernet Sauvignon 64%; Merlot 22%; Petit Verdot 8%; Cabernet Franc 6%
Classification Grand Cru Classé 1855
Region Margaux
Soil Siliceous gravels in the heart of margaux
Harvest Dates 25 Sep 2017 to 10 Oct 2017
Vine Age 35
Production Details The producer sheet lists a 10 ha vineyard. Late-April frost destroyed approximately half the potential crop and affected the lower-planted Merlot particularly strongly. By the March 2018 assessment, 90% of the free-run wines had spent at least four months in new oak; this is an in-progress primeur observation, not a final new-oak proportion or exact ageing duration for the finished blend.
Tasting Notes Producer primeur assessment, March 2018: dense, youthful colour; vibrant fresh fruit; floral, spicy and fruity Cabernet Sauvignon; balanced blend with freshness, silky texture, abundant ripe tannins and marked finishing astringency.
2016 Technical Specifications

Tasting Notes Jacques Dupont: black fruit, blackberry and plum; a round, supple yet taut palate with a tightened finish.
