Production Details Available only in magnum. The 0.5-hectare cuvée comes from ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vines planted between 1870 and 1882. Grapes are harvested manually with 50% whole bunches, followed by three weeks of fermentation with very gentle extraction. Maturation lasts 18 months in barrels previously used for two to three wines.
Tasting Notes Red and black berries, spice, graphite-like mineral notes, blackberry, cherry compote, white pepper, herbs, red fruit, gentle tannins and a floral finish.
