Production Details Wine.com presents the following as winemaker notes for the 2021 release: fruit from vines planted in the 1960s on a site immediately south of Couchey; 25% whole cluster; maceration and fermentation for 14–18 days, with the range expressly described as vintage-dependent; élevage for 12 months in barrels, 20% new, followed by six months in tanks before bottling; bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Tasting Notes James Suckling describes crushed stones, strawberries, cherries, nutmeg and redbush tea, with fine stony tannins, medium body and cool minerality.
