Production Details The must underwent overnight débourbage at 12°C. A variety of coopers was used, including Chassin and François Frères; the lees were stirred through completion of malolactic fermentation. Non-regional wines were racked to tank shortly before harvest and bottled in early spring. Burghound identifies the estate’s holding in Vergers proper as 0.95 ha.
Tasting Notes Wine Advocate (January 2024): youthfully reductive, with citrus oil, pear, crushed mint and white flowers; medium- to full-bodied and satiny, with a taut, racy palate and long, penetrating finish. Vinous (January 2024 barrel sample): reductive, intense and poised, with shiso leaf and lingering spice. Burghound (June 2024): sleek middleweight flavors, seductive mouthfeel, solid depth and persistence, with post-bottling reduction.
Critics Ratings Wine Advocate 91–93; Vinous 91–93; Burghound 91
